CASE STUDY: DIBBLE ENGINEERING

Civil engineering firm in Phoenix, Arizona.

Dibble & Associates Consulting Engineers (a Civil Engineering firm in Phoenix, Arizona) contracted RJD Creative to undertake a comprehensive branding research, analysis and development project to assess their corporate brand. Phase 1 of the project involved branding research including 30 in-person client, sub-consultant and staff interviews, 100+ web surveys, secondary competitor research, analysis of the collected research data and reporting and distillation of research data into manageable key findings.

Phase 2 involved a Brand Strategy Recommendation including a slight restructuring of the corporate brand to embrace existing positive attributes within a simplified brand structure the company can effectively use in its marketing efforts. Also recommended was a contraction of the very long and cumbersome existing company name to the more compact “Dibble Engineering”, which clients were already using.

These recommendations were followed by an audit of their existing creative strategy and supporting collateral materials and web site, as well as a revised set of Creative Strategy Recommendations. These included development of a new logo and practice identity icons, revised corporate color palette, revised corporate typeface recommendations, examples of the new brand identity system in use in corporate stationery, corporate brochures, web site, apparel, promotional items and vehicle graphics. RJD Creative developed a comprehensive Brand Identity Standards manual that detailed all recommendations.
