CASE STUDY: IMERGENT

Internet and e-commerce software developer in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Utah-based iMergent Inc. provides ecommerce technology, training and resources to entrepreneurs and small businesses. iMergent was seeking to unify its company and product identities and make them more progressive and appealing to its internet-savvy audiences. RJD Creative was contracted to assume the role of creative lead, partnering with 4 other companies on an aggressive initiative — in both scope and timeline — to redefine the brand identities of the parent company (iMergent) and its internet, ecommerce and financial offerings (StoresOnline, Crexendo, Abound360 and EtailerPro).

The goal was to develop a new brand identity system the client could take over and manage in-house. After a review of client-supplied research data and brand strategy, RJD Creative developed a simple yet bold brand identity system that unified the parent company and its product offerings, yet differentiated them from competitors. The system of brand identity elements included new typeface, color, graphics, photography, design and layout recommendations. New creative assets included new logos for each entity, business systems, print ads, direct mail, trade show graphics, software graphics, software packaging, web site interfaces, web banner ads, enewsletter templates, seminar banners, PowerPoint templates, apparel and promotional items.

RJD Creative completed this rebranding initiative start to finish in 10 weeks, with the final deliverable being source files for all brand identity elements and creative assets for iMergent to use in creative applications in the future.
